Each inmate is allowed ONLY 2 visitors (16 yrs. of age or older) for a maximum of fifteen minutes; unless otherwise approved by the Sheriff, Captain, or Jail Administrator.

To assure you receive adequate time allowed, please try to arrive fifteen minutes before the designated ending time.

 ONLY money orders will be accepted from the public on visitation days.   ABSOLUTELY NO CASH OR OTHER ITEMS WILL BE RECEIVED.  Please view drop off times and regulations for other items below.

Duplin County Sheriff's Office/Detention Center reserves the right to deny visitation to any inmate and/or the public due to safety  and security of our facility.

ATTENTION:
ALL MONEY BROUGHT TO AN INMATE MUST BE IN THE FORM OF MONEY ORDERS ONLY!!!!!   NO CASH OR CHECKS OF ANY KIND WILL BE ACCEPTED.

P E R S O N A L    B E L O N G I N G S

Once an inmate has been received into our facility, no items (money, clothing, keys, etc.) in his/her possession will be released to anyone.

For the safety and security of our facility, items outside of the facility will NOT be accepted.  All inmates are allowed to purchase items from our commissary system provided by Oasis.  Upon admittance to the facility, each inmate is provided an item list and prices for products that can be purchased.  These items include snacks, hygeine items, clothing, recreational items, etc.

Only inmates who are classified as indigent, meaning no money, can request special permission from Jail Administration to receive items from outside the facility.
